Your December Exhale

Three days in the mountains of Lesotho to rest, play, reconnect and experience wellbeing in community.

Our Story

A space to put things down.

Reset • Root • Rise began with a simple idea: create the kind of space many of us keep saying we need, but rarely give ourselves permission to take. A place to step away from routine.

To breathe properly. To laugh and play. To reconnect with ourselves and with other people. To experience different wellbeing practices without pressure, performance or the need to already know what we are doing.

What began as a small gathering has grown into a three-day retreat bringing together practitioners, creativity, movement, rest, conversation, nature and community. This is not about becoming a new person in a weekend. It is about making room for yourself again.

"Come as you are. Land softly. Rise gently."

Why December?

December offers a natural pause to slow down, reconnect, and reflect on the year. Reset • Root • Rise creates space to rest, recharge, and discover simple ways to manage stress at work and home — so guests can enter the new year feeling grounded, resourced, and ready for greater balance and wellbeing.

The 2026 Retreat

Three days. One journey.

RESET — Friday 11 December

Arrive. Exhale. Play.

Friday is our Day of Play — a softer landing into the weekend. Settle into the site, leave the outside world behind, and rediscover the part of you that does not always need to be productive. Slow down, breathe, and enjoy simply being present.

ROOT - Saturday 12 December

Connect. Ground. Belong.

Saturday brings us into community through movement, shared experiences, creativity, conversation, and time outdoors. It is a day to reconnect — with yourself, with others, and the ground beneath you.

RISE — Sunday 13 December

Reflect. Renew.

Sunday — Carry Something Home creates space to gather what the weekend has given you. Move, receive, reflect, and close the retreat in a way that helps you return to everyday life feeling grounded, connected, and ready for what comes next.

What is Reset • Root • Rise?

Reset • Root • Rise is a three-day wellbeing retreat bringing together practitioners from Lesotho and the UK. It is a space to rest, reconnect, play, experience different wellbeing practices and step out of the usual pace of everyday life.

Yes. Saturday, Sunday and two-day passes are available. If you can stay for the full retreat, though, we encourage you to experience all three parts of the journey — RESET, ROOT and RISE. Friday is not just an arrival day; it is the beginning of the experience. Staying through Sunday gives you time to settle, connect, explore and close the weekend as a whole.

RESET — Friday: arrive, exhale, play and begin to let go of the week.
ROOT — Saturday: slow down, connect and explore different wellbeing practices in community.
RISE — Sunday: reflect, restore and take something useful from the weekend back into everyday life. Each day has its own character, but together they form the fuller Reset • Root • Rise experience.

No. RRR is not about performing wellness or trying to complete every activity. You are encouraged to explore, but you can also listen, observe, rest or sit something out when you need to. No fixing. No forcing. No performing wellness.

Not at all. The retreat is suitable for complete beginners as well as people who already use wellbeing practices. Come curious. The practitioners will guide you.

The programme is being carefully curated and may include yoga and gentle movement, sound bath, drumming, journaling, kinesiology, Reiki, foot massage, meditation, breathwork, nature walks, herbal wellbeing conversations, creative and drama-based activities, play, team-building and night-time fireside connection. The final timetable will be shared closer to the retreat.

Poeye Park is at Ha Phaloane, overlooking the Roma Valley, approximately 30 km from Maseru. From Maseru, travel towards Masianokeng and Roma, turn left at St Michael’s towards Nazareth, continue towards Ha Phaloane, then turn right in Ha Phaloane village for Poeye Park. A location pin and fuller arrival directions will be sent to confirmed guests.

No. You can come for Saturday, Sunday or both days and leave after the daytime programme. For those who want the full three-day experience, there are Bring Your Own Tent options as well as Premium Furnished Tent packages.

Wear comfortable clothing that you can move, sit and relax in. Mountain weather can change, so bring warm evening layers, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and a waterproof layer. A full packing list will be shared with booked guests closer to the retreat.
